Clouds at various altitudes are also expected to appear, with a chance of light showers of rain in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD said. A further drop in mercury levels is expected on Thursday, but similar weather conditions will continue to persist until Friday with northwesterly to northeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added. Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 28 degrees Celsius, dropping to 15C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 35C, dipping to 21C during night hours.
