Agricultural Producers' Price Index down 14% in January, February

Ammon News - The Agricultural Producers' Prices Index dropped by 14.1 percent in the first two months of 2021 reaching 91.5 points compared with 106.5 points during the same period of 2020, according to data issued Wednesday by the Department of Statistics.

On a monthly level, the report said that the Agricultural Producers' Prices Index dropped by 6 percent in February reaching 106.1 points compared with 112.8 points during the same period of last year.

Comparing the Agricultural Producers' Prices Index for February to January of this year, the data show a 37.9 percent increase reaching 106.1 in February compared to 76.9 in January.
