Justice Minister, Canadian envoy discuss cooperation

Ammon News - Minister of Justice Ahmed Ziyadat Tuesday discussed with Canadian Ambassador Donica Pottie prospects of joint cooperation in the legal field and means to activate it to serve the interests of the two countries.

During a meeting at the Justice Ministry on Tuesday, Ziyadat highlighted the deep-rooted bilateral ties and the ministry's role in supporting the justice system and the judiciary.

He pointed out that the ministry recently made major achievements, particularly in the field of electronic services to save time and effort, speed up litigation procedures and boost the community's trust, pointing to the ministry’s endeavor to further develop services.

The two sides also discussed cooperation to enter into a judicial assistance agreement.
