Jordan, Canada talk cooperation on tourism

Ammon News - Minister of Culture Ali Ayed and the Canadian Ambassador in Amman Donica Pottie on Monday held a meeting in Amman for a discussion on bolstering Jordanian-Canadian cooperation on tourism.

Ayed highlighted the programs and projects that his ministry has taken up to mark the Kingdom's 100th anniversary, noting that they shed light on Jordan's history and progress throughout the years.

He underscored the Jordanian-Canadian "strong and good" ties, expressing keenness to bolster diversity and cultural exchange and cooperation with Canada.


For her part, Pottie voiced her "pride" in the longstanding ties between the two countries, emphasizing her country's keenness to strengthen the bilateral cooperation on culture.

She highlighted that Jordan and Canada had organized several joint art activities.
