A statement by the ministry on Monday said that the 15 inspection teams have intensified their oversight tours during the last month and conducted some 1,991 visits to various tourist businesses, including hotels and restaurants, across the Kingdom. The ministry indicated that 1,342 tourist establishments have adhered to public safety and health protection standards, noting that 201 others have been notified.

Ammon News - The inspection teams of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in cooperation with other relevant authorities, have shut down 12 tourist facilities and fined 39 others during March for not complying with public safety requirements.
