The Crisis Cell operations at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) advised citizens and residents, who who haven't booked an appointment to get Covid-19 vaccine, regardless of their age category, to shun the designated vaccination centers.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, the NCSCM said people, who head to the vaccination centers, without an appointment cause "severe congestion" in their vicinity and inside them, which helps spread the Covid-19 pandemic and triggers a "high risk for the elderly."
To ensure smooth immunization process, the center stressed the need to register on the gov't platform and book an appointment before heading to the vaccination sites.
