Ammon News -

Jordan's government Wednesday approved amendments to the 2019 tax bylaw that deals with disputes between taxpayers and the Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD).

The amendments would enable the Settlement and Reconciliation Committee to review the disputed tax cases provided they are not related to tax evasion and not in violation of the law.

The Cabinet also approved a memo that was signed by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), the Ministry of Education and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) to ensure that persons with disabilities are included in the education system in an enabling and equitable environment.
