Ammon News - Director of the University of Jordan (UJ) Hospital Islam Massad on Saturday assured that oxygen supply is an at "excellent" level and that the buildup of frost on oxygen regulators and pipes, which was reported Friday, was scientifically and physically normal.
He added that the build of frost is usually caused by an increased intake of oxygen resulting from the growing number of coronavirus patients admitted to the hospital which has reached a 100 percent of its occupancy capacity since more than a week.
Massad indicated that technical teams at the hospital resolved the freezing issue in cooperation with the Civil Defense.
Massad called on the media to be careful when publishing and disseminating information, and obtaining it from official sources, especially during the current difficult epidemiological situation that the country is going through.
