Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, and head of the follow-up committee for the implementation of Royal initiatives, Yousef Issawi, received a plane carrying medical aid provided to Jordan from the Kingdom of Belgium, aimed to support national efforts in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
The aid plane, which arrived at Marka Military Airport on Thursday, is carrying medical equipment and supplies, including oxygen equipment and energy generators, to enhance the capacity of Jordan's medical sector in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, and curb its "large-scale" community spread.
This aid comes as a result of the close relations between His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Majesty King Philip of Belgium.
