Speaker of the Lower House, Abdel Moneim Awdat, has decided to convene the parliament next Sunday.

The session's agenda includes a discussion of a draft law to rescind ratification of the production-sharing agreement for oil exploration between Jordan's Natural Resources Authority (NRA) and the Canadian Ammonite Energy Ltd. (AMO-V) in the southern Al-Jafr region and central Jordan bloc.

Moreover, the lawmakers will also discuss the decision of the House's financial committee on the draft law regulating the general budget and budgets of government units.
