Ammon News - The Salt Attorney General decided to detain the Director of the Balqa Health Department, the Assistant Director for Nursing Affairs at the al-Hussein Hospital in Salt and the person in charge of medical devices, following a deadly oxygen outage at the hospital last Saturday, an official stated.
Amman's Attorney General, Hassan Abdallat, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra), on Wednesday, that the Public Prosecutor decided to detain them in a correction and rehabilitation center for a week and charged them with 7 counts of causing death in participation.
The investigations, he added, are still underway swiftly to identify those responsible for the crime, which claimed the lives of 9 Jordanians, 7 of whom died due to the oxygen outage. Investigations are expected to wrap up within the next few days, he pointed out.
