Ammon News - Jordanian and Romanian officials on Tuesday held an online meeting kicking off the first round of consultations which the two agreed to periodically hold to develop bilateral ties and coordinate stances on regional and international issues of common concern.
The meeting brought together Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Youssef Batayneh, and State Secretary at the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Cornel Feruta, and senior diplomats from both sides.
The online encounter reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East and the resetting of cooperation and partnership priorities in light of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a Jordanian foreign ministry statement.
