Ammon News - Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh issued circular No. 27 for 2021, based on the provisions of Defense Order No. 19 for 2020.

Based on the provisions of Clause Eight of the Defense Order, nightclubs, bars and discos, and counters that serve alcoholic drinks inside tourist restaurants, Turkish and eastern baths, sports centers and academies, fitness centers, sports clubs, and indoor swimming pools in hotel facilities, residential and tourist complexes, and public swimming pools, equestrian clubs and parks, including shops in them, shall be closed.

Academies and vocational and technical training centers that are not subject to the Education Law will be closed as of Wednesday, March 10th, until Wednesday March 31.

According to the circular, the owner and / or manager of the establishment that violates the provisions of Clauses (First) and (Second) of this circular shall be punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months, or a fine of no less than JD500 and not exceeding JD3000 or with both penalties.

The Prime Minister is entitled to extend the provisions of this circular or amend any of its provisions in light of the epidemiological situation, according to circulars he issues for this purpose.
