The area of housing buildings totalled 605 square metres in January 2021, compared with 390 thousand square metres in the same month last year, registering an increase of 55.1 per cent, the DoS said on its website. The department added that the number of licences hit 2, 354, compared with 1, 609 in the same month 2020, marking a 46.7 per cent increase.

Ammon News - The total area of licensed buildings in January 2021 has increased by 41.8%, reaching some 662 thousand square metres, compared with 467 thousand square metres during the same period of 2020, the Department of Statistics (DoS) announced on Wednesday.

The area of housing buildings totalled 605 square metres in January 2021, compared with 390 thousand square metres in the same month last year, registering an increase of 55.1 per cent, the DoS said on its website.

The department added that the number of licences hit 2, 354, compared with 1, 609 in the same month 2020, marking a 46.7 per cent increase.
