Ammon News - The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and authorities enforcing Defense Order No. 20 last week recorded 171 violations by facilities and 358 by individuals for failure to adhere to public safety requirements, including wearing masks, distancing and avoiding overcrowding.
The ministry said in a press release that it made visits to 14,020 establishments during that period, including supermarkets, vegetable and grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and others.
It said that regulatory authorities continue to intensify monitoring in all regions of the Kingdom to ensure adherence to safety and preventive health requirements.
The control bodies have carried out about 280,631 visits to the various facilities across the Kingdom over the period from October until this month.
