Ammon News - A special team from the Public Security Directorate (PSD) has launched an investigation into an alleged attempt to abduct a minor girl in the northern border district of Ramtha, according to a police source.


In a press statement, the PSD's media spokesperson said Ramtha Police Directorate received a complaint on Saturday from the girl's parents, alleging that unknown people driving a vehicle attempted to kidnap their daughter while she was near her home.


A joint and special investigation team has begun investigating the incident to determine the suspects' identity and nab them, the police official added.
