made of cake

Ammon News - The internet has gone into meltdown after discovering that an image of musician Slowthai in a hospital bed is not real and is in fact made out of cake.

A trend emerged recently that saw everyone's eyes being boggled by cakes that looked like incredibly realistic items.

There were loads of great ones, but now it seems we might have to crown a winner for the challenge.

An image of the rapper Slowthai lying in a hospital bed has gone viral after people discovered that it's not what it seems, reports The Daily Star.

The picture is taken from the musician's Feel Away video and his head and torso are in fact real - but it turns out the rest of his body is actually made of cake.

WHAT?!

The life-like cake was revealed to be a sweet treat on Instagram, by the talented creator Ben Cullen, also known as The Bake King.

Posting photos of the cake on his page, Cullen wrote: "When I turned @slowthai into CAKE! Tbt.

"Made for his music video ‘Feel Away’ - all his body parts were made from vanilla cake and chocolate ganache with sugar paste details!"

Before and after snaps were shared on social media, with the first showing a close up of the man's arm and doctor's appearing to be treating him.

However, in the second creepy photo, it becomes clear that the doctors aren't hard at work - they're tucking into cake and the arm has been sliced up, with a hand sitting separately at the end, palm down.

People on the internet lost their minds over the snaps, with one saying: "This is so disturbing!!"

Another replied: "This is fantastic and creepy at the same time."

"I’m not sure how I feel about this," admitted a third.

Someone else posted: "Noooo way, nope, no no no, we’re not bringing this trend back to life."

A different user added: "This is amazing but horrifying!"
