Ammon News - Heavy rain and snow over the past 24 hours channeled about 2.884 million cubic meter (MCM) of water into the Kingdom's dams, mainly in the central and northern regions, according to the Jordan Valley Authority (JVA).
JVA Secretary-General Manar Mahasneh said Thursday that a total of 45.4mcm of water has entered the Kingdom's dams since the start of the wet season, pushing storage to 136mcm or about 40.44 of total capacity.
Like this time last year, she noted, the country's main dams held 164mcm or 48.9 of their total storage capacity.
