The Jordan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, Tuesday, held a meeting with several EU ambassadors to the Kingdom for a discussion on the regional challenges and Jordan's political and economic reforms.
Safadi, who is also the deputy prime minister, briefed the convened on the political and economic reforms in the Kingdom, which he said sit on top of His Majesty King Abdullah II's priority list.
He highlighted the importance of the strong cooperation and coordination between the EU member states and Jordan that cover all fields, chief of which is the regional challenges. He presented the government's reform plan several other plans on political reform.
The meeting also discussed the latest Jordanian efforts in ending the regional crises, chief of which is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Safadi emphasized the Kingdom's keenness to keep working with the EU in upholding regional peace and stability, and he expressed that Amman seeks stronger cooperation with the newly elected U.S. administration.
