Ammon News - The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) called on the trade and service sector countrywide to take the necessary preparations and precautions to deal with the weather conditions forecast to affect the Kingdom during the coming days, to preserve their safety and property.
In a press statement put out on Sunday, the JCC stressed the need to take "appropriate" preventive measures, especially in trade markets in low-lying areas, and to deal "seriously" with warnings and instructions issued by the Jordan Meteorological Department (JOMETEO), Civil Defense Department, the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) and other municipalities.
To avoid any weather-related damage, the JCC called on merchants to adhere to the guidelines issued during rainy conditions, to preserve lives and public and private property, in order to avoid exposure to accidents that incur financial losses, and expose their businesses to risks.
Adherence to the guidelines helps reduce the damage that may result from accidents during the expected weather situation, and contributes to protecting property, especially with regard to avoid leaving goods in low-lying areas, according to the JCC.
