Ammon News - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, so it will be fair in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be warm, with southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Mercury levels will drop few degrees on Monday, but similar weather conditions will continue to persist with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
On Tuesday, dusty conditions are expected to prevail countrywide with clouds at various altitudes during daytime, the JMD noted.
Toward night, the Kingdom will be affected by a very cold air mass in front of a depression centered over Cyprus, bringing chilly and partly cloudy weather with scattered rain in the western regions, while winds will be southwesterly brisk with strong gust exceeding 60 kilometres per hour in some areas, the JMD predicted.
Snow showers are also forecast in the late night hours over the southern highlands, the weather department further said.
Temps in Amman today will range between 21 degrees Celsius and 8C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 27C, dropping to 13C during night hours.
