Ammon News - The Ministry of Education said that none of the 6 students among the target age group with in-class learning in the first phase, which were infected with Coronavirus (Covid-19), have officially enrolled in the in-class learning.
The ministry added that 20 teachers were infected with the virus, 6 of them did not enroll in schools, in addition to one administrator who tested positive and did not join his work, indicating that the infected were dealt with in accordance with the approved health protocol by obliging them to home quarantine.
In its report on the progress of the gradual and phased return to in-class learning, the ministry stated that the total attendance rate in schools of the target group was 81 percent, while the cumulative percentage of students, whose parents had chosen in writing distance learning, was 17 percent.
According to the report, the overall assessment of compliance with the health protocol decreased to 95.7 percent, due to failure to comply with health conditions while using buses, which reached 79.8 percent, according to the ministry.
The Ministry of Education called on parents to ensure that health requirements are adhered to in means of transport used to transport their children to schools, to avoid overcrowding in these vehicles, and not to send students who show symptoms of disease or in contact with confirmed infections.
