Ammon News - School teacher Mason Pyper, who teaches PE, went viral after showing how he began his online class, with people left in stitches by his unusual method.
It seems starting your Zoom class with a simple hello is so passé.
In 2021, children are getting bored of the usual online school routine - and we don't blame them.
One teacher was lavished with praise after showing how he started his online class for his pupils recently.
Mason Pyper, a teacher in Raleigh, North Carolina, went viral after zooming into class onto a Slip and Slide in front of his laptop.
The dedicated teacher, who works at Pine Hollow Middle School, racked up 1.9 million views on TikTok after sharing a video of the hilarious moment.
In the caption, he added: "My student's reaction to these never gets old."
After turning his camera and microphone on, he disappears off camera before appearing at the top of the slip and slide.
He screams "Happy Friday" before hurling himself down the slope - and it doesn't look like it was very warm.
People were left in stitches by the video - with one person joking: "Imagine if he did all that and only two people joined so far."
Another commented: "This is the funniest way to start an online class hands down."
A third asked: "How did you go from this to the lesson?"
Previously, the teacher has started his class by cartwheeling over to his laptop and swinging in on a rope.
In another video, he arrived on rollerskates and shot a goal with a hockey stick.
The teacher said he started his TikTok account to connect with his students, while they continue to work from home.
He told MediaHub : "All of last year, I was in class, and I could display who I was to my students everyday.
“But now, through a screen, it’s just not the same.”
“We get to share experiences, as well as our love for kids and how we want to help them
He continued: "Especially with everything being virtual, it’s not bad to meet people online, especially if they’re on the same path and have the same passions as you.”
