Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major Gen. Yousef Huneiti, met on Thursday, in his office at the General Command, the Chinese ambassador to Amman, Chen Chuandong.

The discussions went over ways to strengthen military cooperation relations between the two friendly countries, joint coordination in all military fields, and the exchange of experiences in training fields, according to a press statement.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Chinese military attaché in Amman, Huneiti stressed the "deep-rooted" Jordan-China relations and lauded the extent of the continuous cooperation in the military fields between the two countries.

For his part, the envoy stressed the two sides' keenness to open new channels in areas of joint military cooperation.
