The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday called for pre-checking travel instructions and conditions issued by the countries, to be visited or transit through, before traveling, in order to avoid any problems and additional costs, especially in transit countries.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Daifallah Fayez, said it is necessary to take into account that measures adopted by countries are continuously changing, sometimes without prior announcement, due to the exceptional situations that countries of the world are witnessing due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
He added that it is advisable to avoid travel except in necessary cases, to adhere to health guidelines and protocols, and to have medical insurance that covers the travel period due to the high cost of treatment in some countries.
Fayez affirmed that Jordanian missions abroad are exerting their efforts to provide possible assistance to Jordanian citizens, within their capabilities, and in alignment with laws and regulations of countries.
