Ammon News - Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi participated on Monday in the Arab Intelligence Forum via video conference.
The forum has been attended by Arab delegations, intelligence chiefs and Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Gheit.
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Egypt intelligence chief, Abbas Kamel, Director of Jordan General Intelligence Department, Major General. Ahmad Husni and other Arab intelligence chiefs participated in the inauguration of Arab Intelligence Forum in Cairo.
Egyptian Presidency spokesperson, Bassam Rady said that Sisi welcomed all participating delegations and emphasized the importance of activating the Arab Intelligence Forum as a strong and supportive mechanism for cooperation between countries.
Sisi added that fighting terrorism depends on exchanging experiences and information between countries along with continuous development of different confronting mechanisms.
Sisi also reaffirmed the significance of cooperation between Arab counties to restore stability in the region, especially in areas that witnesses instability and crises due to terrorist groups which threaten its stability and safety, indicating that these groups are supported by foreign countries and governments that attempt to create a state of chaos in the region.
