Director of the Public Security Department (PSD), Major General Hussein Hawatmeh, on Monday, launched a 911 application for IOS and Android smartphones.

The app, created by the Operations and Control Department, aims at increasing communication channels with citizens, involving them in the security process, and informing them of important news and security developments, as well as providing awareness-raising tips, road updates, weather conditions updates, and emergency numbers.

The application also allows users to submit complaints and reports confidentially, in addition to a variety of other services. It is currently available in both Arabic and English versions on the app store at https://apps.apple.com/jo/app/amen-911/id1550571679 and Google store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.menaitech.ammn.

The PSD urged citizens to download and install the application on their smartphones to benefit from the comprehensive services it provides.
