Ammon News - Sunny and relatively cold weather conditions are expected to prevail on Monday in most parts of the Kingdom as temperatures will rise 3-4C above their annual average, reaching a high of 15 degrees Celsius during daytimes in Amman.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), mercury levels will drop at night, bringing chilly conditions in many regions and hovering around 6C in the capital, while it will be warmer in the southern port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 26C and lows sliding to 13C.
Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will continue to persist with clouds at various altitudes and southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said.
In the late night hours of Wednesday, scattered showers are expected in the southern areas of the country, including Aqaba, the JMD predicted, noting that winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to active, blowing dust in the Badia regions.
