The government’s fuel pricing committee decided to hike the prices of some fuel derivatives for February and maintain others unchanged.
This came during the panel's monthly meeting, which was held Sunday, to determine the prices of selling oil derivatives locally for the the next month of February.
Under the committee's decision, the price per litre of leaded and unleaded gasoline will climb by JD0.035 and diesel per litre will increase by JD0.025 during the month of February.
The price per litre of 90 unleaded octane gasoline will sell at JD0.0730, compared to JD0.0695 per liter in January, and 95 octane gasoline will sell at JD0.0945 against JD0.0910 per liter a month earlier, will diesel price was hiked to JD0.0525, instead of JD0.0500 per liter.
In implementation of the Cabinet directives, the price of kerosene was fixed at JD0.0460 per liter, and the price of the gas cylinder remained at JD7.
