Ammon News - A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Saturday, and the weather will be very cold almost countrywide, with possible light showers of rain in morning hours in the northern and central regions, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
During the morning hours, the JMD warns of the danger of slippery roads in the northern and central areas, and the risk of low horizontal visibility due to fog, adding that possibility of freezing conditions could is forecast during the late night hours in highlands.
On Sunday, mercury is tipped to further rise slightly, however cold weather will prevail almost nationwide, with fair conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the JMD added.
On Monday, temps continue to soar, registering around 3-4 Celsius degrees higher than their seasonal rates, the met department noted.
Also on Saturday, Amman will see 10 Celsius degrees during daytime, dropping to 6C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will live a fair 22C, plunging to 13C during nightime
