Prince Mired meets with labour, planning ministers

Ammon News - HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD) and Labour Minister Maen Qatamin on Wednesday discussed means to boost cooperation and steps the HCD wants to implement to boost the integration of people with disabilities in the labour market.

Prince Mired reviewed major challenges facing people with disabilities in the labour market, mainly lack of integrative education opportunities, which limits their opportunities to receive decent jobs, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

During a separate meeting with Planning and International Cooperation Minister Nasser Shraideh, the prince reviewed means to include issues of people with disabilities in projects financed by donor countries and organisations.
