JPA to hold council elections on April 2

Ammon News - The Jordan Press Association (JPA) set April 2 a date to hold its general assembly meeting and council's elections.

JPA Law No. 15 of 1998 stipulates the postponement of the general assembly meeting had there was lack of legal quorum.

In a JPA meeting chaired by its President, Rakan Saaydah, on Wednesday, the council approved the legal review on holding the General Assembly meeting and the required legal periods for the elections, in accordance with the provisions of the JPA Law and its bylaw.
