Ammon News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday condemned ongoing attempts by Yemen's Houthi group to target civilian areas in Saudi Arabia, the last of which was a ballistic missile that was fired in Riyadh and was intercepted and destroyed by the Saudi air defenses.
In a statement, Ministry spokesperson Daifallah Al-Fayez reiterated Jordan’s condemnation of this "cowardly terrorist attack", and its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that target people indiscriminately and aim to undermine security and stability of the country.
He also stressed that Jordan fully stands by Saudi Arabia in the face of any threat to its security, saying that the security of the two kingdoms is one and is inseparable, and that any threat to the security of Saudi Arabia is a threat to the security and stability of the entire region.
Al-Fayez also lauded the capabilities of the Saudi air defenses and their success in countering such attacks and intercepting and destroying the missile.
