Ammon News - AMMON - Germany's contribution to the European Film Festival will be the film "Full Metal Village."
Once a year, it is over with the peace and quiet of the small rural village of Wacken in North Germany: On the first weekend of August, 40.000 fans of Heavy Metal music flock to the biggest open-air Heavy Metal festival in the world. When bands like Cannibal Corpse, Grave Digger, Raise Hell, Death Angel und Sodom arrive, everything in the village is different than usually.
In her film "Full Metal Village", Korean film maker Sung-Hyung Cho, who has lived in Germany for twenty years, portrays three aspects: the village, the festival - and their peaceful and curious encounter.
"Full Metal Village", the German contribution to this year's European Film Festival, is presented by the Goethe Institut and will be shown on Sunday 8 November 8 p.m and on Tuesday, 10 November, 5 p.m. at Al Hussein Cultural Center (Ras al Ain).
The movie will be shown in German with Arabic and English subtitles.
