Ammon News - The Tafila Technical University (TTU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordan Industrial Estates Co. (JIEC) to address challenges facing investors, and lure in investors to the Tafilah Governorate.

Marking Jordan's 100th anniversary, President of the University, Mohamed al-Hourani, said the TTU will continue being at the forefront of universities linking with the industrial sector, which will lead to achieving sustainable and comprehensive development in the governorate.

In January, he said, the university will celebrate its 16th anniversary, highlighting that "the Tafila Technical University constitutes a success story, and a determination of humans to succeed and weather in the face of challenges; it is keen to have a share from its name, as almost three-quarters of its programs on the Bachelor's degree and Master's degree levels are technical and attractive programs that are wanted in the labor market..."

He also said that all the TTU's programs are accredited by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (AQACHEI), adding that a new faculty was established: the Information and Communication Technology.
