Jordan, Egypt hold ministerial meeting on enhancing joint cooperation

Ammon News - Minister of Agriculture Muhammad Daoudiyeh and Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly discussed necessary plans to enhance joint cooperation in all fields to achieve strategic integration, especially in economic, trade and investment fields.

This discussion was made during Madbouly's meeting with a ministerial delegation chaired by Daoudiyeh, on the sidelines of the trilateral Jordanian-Egyptian-Iraqi ministerial meeting in Cairo.

The meeting comes as a continuation of Amman, New York and Cairo meetings in order to adopt the best ways and mechanisms to translate the strategic ties on the ground, especially the vital economic ones such as the electrical linkage and the joint economic zone, and to benefit from national capabilities.

The meeting also seeks to achieve integration between the three countries, especially in light of the coronavirus pandemic, which will deepen cooperation in deal with its impacts.
