Ministerial delegation leaves for Cairo for talks with Egyptian, Iraqi counterparts

A Jordanian ministerial delegation has left for Cairo on Saturday to participate in the Jordanian-Egyptian-Iraqi ministerial meeting, held within the framework of the tripartite cooperation mechanism.


The delegation is comprised of Minister of Agriculture, Mohammed Dawudiya, Minister of Public Works and Housing, Yahia Kasbi, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Maha Ali, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Hala Zawati, Minister of Health, Nathir Obeidat, and Minister of Transport, Marwan Khaitan.


During the talks, the delegation will discuss with Egyptian and Iraqi counterparts, mechanisms of cooperation and joint projects between the three countries.
The delegation is also scheduled to meet Egyptian Prime Minister ,Mustafa Madbouly.


Held at Egypt's invitation, the sectoral meeting will discuss ways to strengthen and develop technical cooperation frameworks and projects within the tripartite cooperation mechanism.


The ministers are expected to return to Amman tonight.
