In a UNICEF's press statement issued on Wednesday, Chapuisat said: "We are deeply saddened by the horrific incident that was committed today against a 15-year-old child in his home in Amman," adding that all kinds of violence against children can be prevented.

Ammon News - Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Jordan, Tanya Chapuisat, confirmed her support for the Jordanian government to expedite efforts and legislative frameworks to end all forms of violence against children in the Kingdom.
