Ammon News - The secretary-General of Health ministry, Dr Wa'el Alhayajneh, on Thursday said that the ministry of Health follows up on all information related to the COVID-19 vaccine to ensure that it is completely effectiveness.


In a trial study conducted by U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the vaccine was given to more than 38000 volunteers, indicating that some of them were not given the real vaccine, he said.

With regards to side effects, the results of the trail study showed that 84% felt pain when injected, 62% fatigue, 50% headache and 31% fever, he added.

The vaccine is not the cause of death cases for those who took it, but it may possibly be other reasons, he also added.

People are required to adhere to wearing face masks and social distancing, he indicated.
