The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) agents have arrested a person who allegedly shot and killed his father in the southern Aqaba governorate four days ago.

In a press statement issued on Wednesday, media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the CID personnel had arrested a suspect, who has reportedly killed his father, after sustaining fatal gunshots following domestic disputes.

The case was transferred to the competent public prosecutor, who ordered the killer apprehended, the spokesperson pointed out.
