Alkharabsheh: schools and universities will not affect the epidemiological situation

Ammon News - Head of epidemiological situation assessment committee and former health minister, Dr Sa'ad Alkharabsheh, said that there is a in the number of infections during the last three weeks.

There is a in the percentage of positive tests in addition to unnoticeable in the number of death cases, stating that the situation is better, however caution is required until the end of the year, he said.

"We need to wait for at least 5 weeks before talking about a in the number of infections as it can be a mere coincidence and the number of infections may increase", he also said.

Schools and universities are expected to be re-opened as people are in constant movement and infected people being isolated at home, indicating that re-opening schools and universities will not affect the epidemiological situation, he added.
