Ammon News - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but relatively cold weather conditions will prevail in most parts of the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be fair, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
The weather will turn to be colder at night with clouds at various altitudes and a chance of light showers in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, extending to the south-western region, the JMD added.
On Wednesday, mercury levels will dip few degrees, but the weather will remain relatively cold in the most areas of the country and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with low clouds and a possibility of light and intermittent rain in the early morning hours over the western regions, the department noted.
Temperatures on Thursday are expected to increase again, but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail with high clouds and southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD predicted.
In Amman today, mercury will hover around 19 Celsius degrees, dropping to 10C during night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 25C, sliding into 15C during night hours.
