Ammon News - Temperatures on Monday are expected to hover around their annual average during this time of the year, bringing relatively cold weather conditions in most parts of the country, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Clouds will appear at different altitudes, and winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate, the JMD added.
On Tuesday, temperatures are forecast to slightly rise, but similar weather conditions will prevail during the day. By night time, clouds will gradually begin forming, and the northern and central regions will see rainfall, which is expected to gradually spread to some parts of the south-western region, the department said.
The weather is forecast to be cold in most areas around the Kingdom on Wednesday as mercury levels will again, bringing a chance for light and scattered showers in some parts of the northern and central regions.
In Amman today, mercury will hover around 17 Celsius degrees, dropping to 9C during night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 26C, sliding into 15C during night hours.
