Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and British Secretary of State for the Home Department, Priti Patel, held a meeting Sunday in Manama for a discussion on Jordan-UK ties.
In the meeting that took place on the sidelines of the 16th edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue, Safadi and Patel discussed regional developments, chef of which are the Palestinian cause, the Syrian crisis and the situation in Iraq.
The talks figured high on the importance of pooling effort in resolving the regional crises and achieving peace and stability.
They emphasized the importance of supporting Iraq in its reconstruction effort and restoring stability and security, highlighting that stability in Iraq is a necessity for regional stability.
Safadi underscored the importance of cooperation in fighting terrorism, describing it as a "common enemy."
