Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - the United Nations ranked Jordan 14th among the world’s top countries in maintaining safety, security and stability for its citizens and visitors.
The U.N. agency's report came in 140 pages evaluating security and stability around the world. Switzerland came in first place in the 2009 report.
The report noted that Jordan is considered among the safest and most stable Arab nations as a result of the dedication of security apparatuses in providing safety and security in the kingdom, and highlighted their expertise and capability in detecting attempts to shake stability.
A study conducted by a U.N. team that visited Jordan earlier this year commended the job of Jordan's security officers in their mannerism with citizens and visitors.
It also noted that security procedures are considered among the most refined and organized security procedures in the region, leading to a successful achievement of security apparatuses in maintaining security and stability in the country.
