Ammon News - Fair weather conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday countywide with clouds at various altitudes and southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Similar moderate conditions will remain on Friday with a chance of spotty showers, mainly in the evening hours in various parts of the Kingdom, while winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Saturday, bringing relatively cold and partly cloudy to cloudy weather with intermittent rain accompanied by thunder at times in different regions, the department predicted.
Toward the night, rainfall is forecast to taper off and the weather will gradually stabilize.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 19 degrees Celsius in Amman, 16 in the northern and the southern highlands, dropping down at night to 8, 6 and 5C respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 26 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 15 degrees at night.
