Ammon News - The weather on Tuesday is expected to be moderate across the Kingdom during the day time, with clouds at various altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
In the evening, the country will be affected by unstable weather conditions, bringing cloudy skies and spotty showers that may turn heavy in the eastern and southeastern regions, accompanied by lightning, thunder and hail at times, and causing floods in valleys and low-lying areas, the JMD added. Winds will be southeasterly moderate, blowing dust in the Badia.
Wednesday is expected to bring in similar relatively cold and partly cloudy weather with a chance of scattered rain in the eastern, northern and central parts of the Kingdom, the JMD noted.
The rainfall is forecast to be heavy in some areas in the early morning hours, making high water levels in the valleys and lowlands, the JMD predicted, noting that clouds will gradually decrease at night and the weather will stabilize.
On Thursday, the weather will be relatively cold and cloudy in most regions, except the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with a weak chance of showers and southeasterly moderate to brisk winds.
In Amman today, mercury will hover around 19 Celsius degrees to 9C, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 27C, slipping into 17C during night hours.
