Ammon News - The Embassy of Palestine declared that it has been shut down, starting on Sunday, and its inability to process transactions until further notice.
It added that the shut down occurred due to COVID-19 infections of a number of workers in its various departments.
In a press statement, the embassy said the closure comes within its precautionary and preventive measures in place to preserve the safety of workers and people who seek consular services.
The date to resume work will be announced, as reopening will be posted on its website and its online platform to enable completion of transactions, applications, processed by the embassy's various departments and offices, the statement added.
