Minister of Justice: We will continue to impose penalties on those who violate defence orders

Minister of Justice, Bassam Talhouni, said that the meeting attended by the ministers of Health, Transportation, Industry and Trade, Digital Economy and Labor discussed the procedures that will be taken by the government, indicating that the government assesses the situation daily.

He added that the government agreed to follow up on the commitment towards wearing face masks in transportation sector and other places to ensure the commitment of wearing face masks and social distancing.

The meeting also discussed a number of procedures with regards to public and private hospitals, he also added.

The minister stresses that the government will continue to impose penalties on those who violate the defence orders, where a penalty of 20 Dinar will be imposed on any one who does not wear face mask.
