Relatively cold weather to prevail, temps to rise over next 2 days

Temperatures are tipped to slightly on Saturday, and the weather will be relatively cold and partly cloudy, as scattered showers of rain are forecast in the north, limited parts of the Kingdom's central regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
During the afternoon hours, the weather will gradually stabilize, and the winds will be westerly moderate, often active, it added.
The JMD warns of the risk of low horizontal visibility during the early morning hours, due to the formation of fog over the highlands and parts of the Badia regions.
Roads may also be slippery during the morning hours in the areas that saw downpour, and the low horizontal visibility may occur due to dust in the Badia regions, the JMD also warned.
During the next two days, a slight rise in mercury is set to occur, and the weather will be relatively cold in most regions, and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the JMD showed.
Also on Saturday, Amman will see temps hower around 17 Celsius degrees to 9C during night hours, while the the Gulf of Aqaba will see the mercury rise to 27C during daytime, sliding into 17C during the night.
